Just a note… these are not my photos. I have NO photos of anything “cuddly” (and believe me, I LOOKED!). I have photos of my cat but while he LOOKS cuddly he just isn’t. So I cheated this time around. In my defence, I TRIED to take Basil’s photo one time but he immediately ran away and hid under the couch and refused to come out. These photo are one’s taken by my friend Krys.
Possibly one of the least cuddly cats on the planet. What this series of photos just doesn’t capture is just how orange Basil’s eyes are… Pumpkin orange… Creepy!

I love that first shot. It sort of reminds me of the way some of my college pals looked after an all night bender. Mike “Looked” cuddly but was not, and neither is Smokey. Smokey will sit on your lap under duress, acting the whole time as if you had bad breath, it is like holding a cat shaped stone. Not cuddly. Which is why my cuddly shot is of Ruby.

Benjamin “knows” that despite the fact that we have been together since 1997, I have simply been lulling him into a false sense of security all this time and am planning to murdilate him. So he struggles whenever I pick him up. Or he cries, as though he’s saying “Pleaaaaase let me down! If I want a few minutes of cuddling him, I have to practically lie on him while he sheds and cries.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting on Calle Cat’s cuddliness. What a dilemma, not having a “cuddly”-picture! But that happens to everyone. When the PH-theme was birds, I did not have one decent shot!! So you do the best you can! I think you did well. This cat LOOKS cuddly, even if it may not actually be cuddly!

Each cat is different, I suppose. Luna has lots of cuddly photos.
I suspect the aftermath of the first “wet” photo wasn’t cuddly at all 🙂

I always think Persians look so fierce but the only one I’ve really “met” was quite the reverse. He did run away, but only after a kitten hissed at him. 🙂
