I was fine. The deer was not. Someone found a nice freezer’s worth if venison on their lawn the next morning. It was gone when I went by later that morning. Poor thing. I was worried because it was obvious that she was still or had recently been nursing. By the time if the accident, any fawns would be able to fend fir themselves, apparently.
I was deemed “not at fault” which was good.
